The Serpent

The Serpent is based on true events regarding serial killer Charles Sobhraj. The screenplay, based on journalistic investigations and official documents, was created by Richard Warlow and Toby Finlay. The production impresses with precise and timely direction in its historical reconstruction. In the 1970s, along the dusty roads from Kashmir to Kathmandu, the mystical route of Southeast Asia, with key stops like Goa in India, the flower children sought their own dimension. With accurate reconstruction transporting us to the 1970s, the series faithfully recreates the events that terrorized Southeast Asia for years — the psychedelic route of the hippies of the time. Produced by BBC and Netflix, The Serpent captivates with its intense atmosphere and an exceptional cast, featuring Tahar Rahim in the lead role.
Several hippies (or even just tourists) began mysteriously disappearing while authorities struggled with the chaotic system of international relations in that area during that historical period. In this void of responsibility, the charismatic Indian-Vietnamese Charles Sobhraj easily gained the trust of his victims, assuming the role of friend, savior, or guide. Together with his accomplice, he turned the Asian paradise into a hunting ground, luring victims through seduction and manipulation.Read the full profile and watch the trailer
Dahmer – Monster: The Story of Jeffrey Dahmer

Few cases have shocked America as much as that of Jeffrey Dahmer, so it’s no surprise that the Netflix show telling his story is among the most watched ever. The cannibal serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer is portrayed by actor Peter Evans, delivering a masterful performance. The show deals with the brutal murders of the serial killer who killed his victims and then fed on them, terrorizing the entire state of Wisconsin from the late 1970s to the early 1990s.
The role is taken on by an intense Evan Peters, Golden Globe winner and 2023 Emmy Awards nominee, who offers a performance as chilling as it is masterful.
