In the first season, viewers followed U.S. Ambassador Kate Wyler through a delicate balancing act of diplomacy, culminating in an attack on the British aircraft carrier HMS Courageous, apparently orchestrated by hidden powers. The second season picked up exactly from that point, raising the stakes and revealing new alliances and betrayals that kept fans on edge until the very last episode. The second season closed with a twist (but we won’t spoil it).

This new political reality introduces an even more complex dynamic, in which Kate finds herself involved in an increasingly dangerous power game. The third season, therefore, promises to explore the consequences of this shift and reveal further facets of the relationship between Kate and her husband Hal. Fans can expect deeper intrigues, with new developments in the international conflict and political relationships among the characters.
