Claire Danes, famous for Homeland, plays Aggie Wiggs. Matthew Rhys, known for his role in The Americans, portrays Nile Jarvis, a man ambiguous between victim and perpetrator. The cast is rounded out by Brittany Snow and Natalie Morales, with notable appearances by Jonathan Banks and Jodie Foster.

Jodie Foster is widely regarded as one of Hollywood’s most important stars for her extraordinary talent, long career, and ability to reinvent herself over time. Born in 1962, she began acting at a very young age and quickly earned critical acclaim for her intense and nuanced performances.

Her breakthrough role as a young prostitute in Taxi Driver (1976) marked her as a prodigy, while The Accused (1988) and The Silence of the Lambs (1991) brought her two Oscars for Best Actress. Netflix viewers can also catch her in Flightplan.

The series stands out for its mix of psychological suspense and a deep exploration of human fragility. Critics have praised the screenplay and the strong chemistry between Danes and Rhys, which makes every dialogue charged with tension. The gothic atmosphere, the precise direction by Antonio Campos, and a tight pace are the winning cards of this production.
